Our eggs come from 100% pasture raised, free as a bird, chickens! We keep a variety because who doesn't! Most of our flock is comprised of Buff Orpingtons, with a few Marans and Easter Eggers and "pretty birds" thrown in there for egg diversity. It's addicting! Chickens that forage for their food and get sunlight produce eggs that are proven to have better Omega 6:3 ratios and are higher in Vitamins E and D with an antioxidant boost much higher than those raised in confinement.
