These are the big boys of the chicken world, massive breast meat portion in relation to size. Our broilers are not the fast growing hybrid chicken, typically grown in the industry. We buy a slower growing cross specific to pasture raising. Ours are grown on pasture with no hormones nor antibiotics. It takes a little longer with these but in the end we have a healthier bird with better Omega 6:3 ratios and product higher in Vitamins E and D with an antioxidant boost much higher than those raised in confinement.
